Chris Sandford of The Chef Centre of Ireland was a demonstrator at Ireland Angling Expo 2010 in Dublin.
Chris prepared and demonstrated a cookery presentation at this two day event and both of these were very well received by the large crowd watching.
The interaction with the public was excellent, he is very personable and brings a good buzz to the event. I found Chris and his team, very easy to deal with and their enthusiasm helped make the show a huge success.

Celebrity Chef Chris Sandford recently took part in the Dublin Angling Initiative’s youth fishing expo which took place in the Howth Sea Angling Centre on Sunday 23 rd May. This event was organised by the Dublin Angling Initiative as part of Fisheries Awareness Week around the country and was a great success. The purpose of the event was to have a number of workshops for young people aimed at introducing them to the different types of fishing. This event was a fantastic success with over 3,000 people taking part. Chris Sandford, celebrity chef had a fantastic cookery demonstration at this event which drew enormous crowds.. All attendants to the show commented on the wonderful cookery that was on offer and the variety of recipes on hand that were made so user friendly by Chris and his team. Celebrity Derek Davis commented in his opening speech: ‘The wonderful fish dishes that Chris Sandford has prepared here today are so appetizing and would encourage anybody young and old to eat fish’. Minister of State at the Department of Communications, Marine and Natural Resources, Conor Lenihan, T.D. was also delighted with the event and sampled the culinary delights of Chris’s dishes.
As well as the wonderful culinary delights, Chris and his fantastic personality brought a new dimension to the show. He was involved from an early stage and gave great commitment to the event and showed great enthusiasm with this wonderful personality. Inland Fisheries Ireland through its flagship project the Dublin Angling Initiative looks forward to working with Chris Sandford on future events.
